Can every board be solved?
Yes. The game shuffles the solved board by making valid moves, so every puzzle has a solution.
What is the correct order?
Place 1–4 on the first row, 5–8 on the second, 9–12 on the third, then 13, 14, 15 and the gap.
Can I use the keyboard?
Yes. Use the arrow keys to move a neighbouring tile into the gap, or press the tiles directly.
The classic sliding puzzle
PinkyDesliza is an online version of the fifteen-tile puzzle. Placing a single number without preparing its partner can force you to undo a whole row, so a good solution depends on recognising cycles and preserving room to rotate pieces.
Every board is generated with valid moves and is therefore solvable. Play with a mouse, keyboard or touchscreen. Complete the top rows first and use the unsolved area to rearrange the remaining tiles.
